This is what happens when you move all your ingredients to behind a big metal screen and remove the easy customization process. Maybe when the sandwich is started I am not in the mood for banana peppers but once it is through the over it calls for banana peppers... post toast customization option, GONE.

They sent out a pretty good sheet of coupons in the mail a few days ago, so the wife and I went to a Quizno's for the first time in about 5 years. The sandwich was good, but quite expensive for what you get (which is why we stopped going there to begin with). The coupons made it bearable, but we would have been just shy of $20 for the two of us getting regular sized sandwiches and meals.....way too much for a fast food sandwich place.

They had decent subs, but they were priced out of the market with Subway and Dash Board, etc. Last time I went there a sub, soda and chips was $9, and that was 5 years ago.

Yeah. I'll take Downtown Deli and West Street Deli any day. At least they put some decent ingredients into it.

I've eaten Quiznos all of once. They yelled at me because I customized my sandwich too much. Said "geeze, do you even WANT that sandwich?" Too which I said "no, but it's the closest I can get to what I want!"

I loved going to Quiznos when Lincoln had 5 or 6 locations. All of them mysteriously shut down at the same time, so the only time my wife and I got to eat there was when we drove through Urbandale. I never remembered them being very expensive until the last time we walked into one and was surprised at the prices.

It's unfortunate, but they kind of brought it on themselves.

Sad. The fact that people still eat Subway over places like Quiznos, Potbellys, Which Wich and others is beyond me. The meat is fake and the smell is like a turd covered in burnt hair. "Subway, the McDonalds' of Subs"...should be their slogan.

Which wich is amazing. They opened one in Indiana right by my house. I was wearing my Iowa State tie and the owners were from Iowa (Hawkeyes though) and we just talked about it for a good thirty minutes or so. Good sandwiches too. Back when I ate meat, I loved their Philly cheesesteak sandwich.

Similar to when somebody does something really crazy in an And 1 game, everybody should have scattered from the thread the second Downtown Deli was mentioned. Game over.

Quizno's too expensive. I feel bad for people eating Subway unless you have a buy 6 inch get one free or $5 footlong worth getting. Subway is bottom tier subs. I'd rather eat a Casey's or JJ's sub. The only thing worse than Subway is the vending machine subs.
