Look how hard the schedule was for you this year. that is now the new normal. No more excuses for ISU from now on. ISU should be getting better than 7-5. they should win at least 8 regular season games next year.

We'll always consistently have a harder schedule than you as long as you play in the Big Ten West. You'll have the once a decade season you might have a better schedule when you can't dodge the good Big Ten East teams but other than that we'll always have a harder go at it

Do you think Texas, Baylor will get back to being good fairly soon?

I'd freely admit that your schedule got tougher when you finally had to play a big boy schedule with tOSU and Michigan. No doubt. You also had two pretty easy years there as well.

The easy schedule narrative was most prevalent a few years ago, when it was true.

Take out last year when you actually played a big boy schedule and the numbers look a bit different. Overall the B1G West SOS are pretty sad in general though. I'm curious, what does the B1G East SOS look like?

Illinois: 44, 44, 37 41.7
NW: 53, 33, 47 44.3
Wisky: 54, 66, 13 44.3
Iowa: 60, 52, 33 48.3
Minny: 43, 43, 65 50.3
Purdue: 50, 40, 61 50.3
Nebby: 61, 49, 57 55.7

Of course you want to just throw out a year to try and help your argument.

B1G East:

Indiana: 46, 54, 63, 48 52.8
Maryland: 30, 9, 64, 1 26
Michigan: 40, 45, 49, 31 41.3
Michgain St: 49, 30, 22, 14 28.8
Ohio St: 29, 60, 6, 13 27
Penn St: 62, 48, 34, 38 45.5
Rutgers: 52, 50, 28, 36 41.5

So including B1G East teams, Iowa has had the 3rd toughest schedule in all of the B1G since the league expanded to 14 teams. All the myths about Iowa's schedule strength in regards to other B1G teams that are treated as gospel around here have been completed exposed today.

My God how easy would it be to play in the Big Ten. That's pathetic

Well not that easy. In the last 10 years you have beaten an average Iowa team 3 out of 10 times for a 30% winning percentage. Since the dawn of the Big 10 West you are winning 25% of the games against the mediocre Iowa team in a watered down big ten west. I do not think you guys would compete with Wisconsin for the west title if you beat Iowa 30% of the time the last 10 years.
