Who's excited? I got tickets to the 12:01 AM showing here in Ames at Cinemark 12. Other than the theaters sucking (wish I was home in Davenport at Cinemas 53), I'm pumped.

Even switched back to my original avatar to celebrate the occasion.

Those theaters ROCK!!!

That's where I'll be tomorrow nite, watching QoS. My brother-in-law's birthday gift to me.

I have tried 3 different times with the same result.......boredom.

I hope this one is better but some early reviews haven't been that great.

The reviews of Casino Royale were actually very good. A lot of people don't like the relaunch because it's not all about gadgets, action, and women. The new movies more closely follow who James Bond was according to Ian Flemming in the novels.

I love Bond movies. One of the best parts of the holidays is Spike's Bond-a-thon. I thoroughly enjoyed Casino Royale and I greatly look forward to Quantum of Solace.

I like like Daniel Craig as Bond. His character is more serious compared to Roger Moore.

My dad took me to my first Bond movie, Dr. No, and I was hooked. Sean Connery is my favorite Bond.

I've heard good things from people about Casino Royale, not your typical Bond film, but I'm ok with that, time for a change IMO. I have it, just haven't gotten around to watching it yet.

I've watched Casino Royale probably 10 times. I love that movie, I love Bond in general, and I'm happy for the change it spices it up a bit.

Definitely will see QoS, probably not this week but I'll definitely get to it.

Watching Casino Royale as soon as I get home from work and before my brother-in-law takes me to see QoS at the theater tonight (happy birthday to me...)

I liked Casino as well. The issue is they try to cram too much story into a typical bond film, which turns some people away. Ive read that the new one has a ton of action, but its right away at the beginning and at the end with alot of dialogue and story in the middle. I will definitely see it.

Especially Valkyrie (even though I thought Tom Cruise had already disappeared into his cave...)

I saw the trailer before the movie.

I guess in the future, Iowa has a large, deep canyon...

Is that where its supposed to have taken place? Hey according to an episode of X-files, we have mountains.

James T. Kirk grew up in Iowa, right?

According to future lore, James T. Kirk will be born in Riverside, Iowa sometime in the mid-23rd century. I do agree, the trailer for Star Trek looked cool.

Did anybody see the new trailer for Watchmen before QoS? It was supposed to be playing it, but at the Movies 12 they didn't have it. Oh well, I'm sure it will play before The Spirit.
