If I really cared about scalping then do you think I would post a link to where to get them? Some of you guys hate just to hate. Something in your life makes you want to bring others down constantly and if the topic something not in your agenda or something that does not go with the way you want it to go you **** on it and try to make others hate on it too
Semi-related: I actually got an email from Microsoft this morning with a link to build and buy an Xbox Series X bundle.
Limited quantity but you need an actual Microsoft account to login to the link and it has to be the one associated with the email that received it. This seems like a smart way to prevent scalping and bots and I’m surprised they didn’t do it sooner.

$590 looks like the cheapest bundle option to build (free shipping), and it let me get all the way to checkout so it doesn’t appear to be out of stock yet.

I sort of stumbled into mine. It was a FB Marketplace ad for 550 bucks. Met at the Mall in Iowa City, and it was sealed, he still had the Best Buy recepit which I had. Its worked great ever since.

I have mixed thoughts on this.
If this was for Insulin, I would be pissed.
Yes, it's kind of slimy thing to do this but at the end of the day it's a PS5,not a cure for cancer, no one has to have one. People are doing the same thing with cars but in those cases it's usually the dealer. In the end, there has to be some dumb ass that's willing to over pay otherwise this racket would end. I think the bigger embarrassment should be from Sony who has had over a year to up production, which was before the chip shortage.
I'll just continue to slum it out with my PS4 until I can buy one for MSRP.
