Problems with WHO HD on DirecTV?

Has anybody else been having problems with WHO's HD feed on DirecTV? Pretty much ever since they added the HD locals, WHO's feed has had issues with frame rate and A/V sync, at least on my TV. It was intermittent at first, but over the past couple of days it seems to have become almost constant.

Sometimes it looks like it's running at about 10 frames per second (as opposed to the normal 30), and sometimes the video looks normal but is out of sync with the audio.

Anybody else experiencing this and know if WHO and/or DirecTV are doing anything about it?

I dont know but mine has been terrible too lately.

I haven't had problems with WHO.

I have noticed a couple of issues with KDSM, though.

My WHO HD has been way out of sync. At first it was tolerable but now it's unwatchable. I haven't tried switching to rabbit ears backup.

Yeah, the audio has been way outta sync on several channels here. I havent noticed it today, but have for the last week.

We've noticed it on and off with all the over the air channels. Absolutely drives my wife bananas. It's like watching a bad kung fu movie.

I am having terrible issues with WHO and Fox 17 with jumpy picture and A/V synch. I called them this morning but got the equivelent of a shoulder shrug. Dolby issues causing synch problems - nothing they can do. For those Spinal Tap fans out there, the lady actually said "Doubly" a couple times

Just letting you know that it is for sure an issue with DirecTV, and not an issue with the actual broadcasting. :wink:

Really? Every time it's been messed up on DirecTV for me, I change to my antenna and it's just fine.

It was messed up on Direct and fine OTA with me too. Its DirecTvs problem, well... I guess ts ours if they dont do anything.

It was that way this morning anyway. I went to switch to my antanna to see if it was direct butthe TV was already set to antanna.

No problems with Directv HD channel 13.

WHO hasn't been a problem for me but KDSM was terrible all day yesterday. Good thing I still have my bunny ears.

My Fox and WHO are messed up on Direct TV but the OTA HD is fine.

We messed around with it over the weekend, and the non-HD broadcast seems to synch ok, so I'm guessing that the sound and video are travelling or being processed at different speeds. Hope they can get that sorted out!

No problems with Directv HD channel 13.

No problems with 13, but KDSM has been sketchy at times.

Last week Thursday night, the DirecTV and OTA channels were not working at all. DirecTV had a message on the screen about knowing the channel was not working, the OTA channel just showed a "searching for singnal" message. Didn't last long, or at least didn't last long from when I noticed it.

We have not watched the DirecTV locals at all though - so not sure if we're having the issues or not - still watching OTA HD channels.
