There are several subforums here that do not interest me. I chose not to open those threads.

Agreed,in general. I'd love to be able to remove the pro threads most of the year, as i dont care about baseball or the NBA and am more of a college FB fan. The mafia thread though might be better served as a social group though.

Each poster should be able to pick and choose which forums they want to have on their front page.

This would be nice. Just have an area in your settings. Have the currently front page ones on by default, but let you remove ones you dont want or even add ones if you do want them (if you want politics or the rivals forum there)

It was at one time but not anymore...does anyone use social groups anymore?

If you personalize your CF page, you never know what you might be missing!

VB does have this functionality. I am on another board where they have a feature called like "My Forum" Where you get to pick all the forums/subforums you see on your front page. It's pretty sweet.

I however don't really use it as I like to see everything. Even though I don't care about 95% of the threads from a forum, there is always that 1 or 2 I would miss if I never saw it on the front page. I've noticed that on the app instate rivals and politics show up on the main page, I see threads on there all the time I would have missed just using the site normally.

I guess it's a pain, but you don't HAVE to click on the thread if it's not interesting...scrolling down is your best friend.

That's not the problem, sometimes those threads kick good threads off the main page.
