Would be a great win.

Good challenge to see how ISU really is trending.

Boy, you guys are more confident than me. Short turn around and a really bad trip to get home from Manhattan. (They had to bus and it took something like 9 hours and got back after midnight.)

Who knows? But ESPN put us as a lock the NCAA yesterday, so that’s good news.

83 - 69 Good guys. Lard pulls off a double double.

Lard has played well, he definitely brings a different skill set than Jacobson. I have been waiting for him to really clean the glass though. He was playing well against Baylor before the injury. I think this game could be a good one for him to really go off.

A couple of our losses were after all of the staff picked ISU to win. If that happens again and Baylor wins, you are all dead to me. ;)

I think last Saturday is indicative of how we will finish the conference season.

Baylor is a tough team, and the other conference leaders are fortunate they didn’t face them with Clark. That could loom big in the final standings.

The game in Waco was kind of a fluke loss imo. We didn’t play badly. Some critical poor calls late, Baylor hit some really tough shots and got the benefit of a big advantage at the FT line. We were poor on defending Clark and giving up some big ORebounds, partially due to Lard’s injury.

Not to mention the distraction of the celebrities being in town and in the stands for the game. It has all the makings for a stinker.

As such, I think this will be a great test to see where ISU is mentally. If they are focused and play defense, I see a very good possibility for a win. If they forget about defense, it will probably be another TCU-like affair. I know that BU is injured, but they are still good enough to light it up if ISU doesn't defend. Also, I expect that the two BU guys will heal miraculously and be able to play.

I think Baylor will lead by like 8 at some point in time during the game.

We should have won in Wacko, TX and if Lard didn't get dinged up I think we would have. I also think if Mason plays we keep him relatively in check.

Almost everyone picking double digit victories against a top half big 12 team seems like a bit much. This feels like another dog fight.

I think Iowa State wins this one in pretty impressive fashion. I think the reason that most fans are picking a double digit W is because without Clark most don't think that Baylor is a top half team... Without Clark, Mason, and McClure they are probably the #7 or #8 team in the league.

Baylor is ******* annoying.

I think we'll play sluggish due to shots not going our way in the first half. But, not in the 2nd.

This one's going OT.

Cyclones - 79
Baylor - 77

Just get the W.

Even if Mason and McClure play, they will likely not be at full strength. And our guards have the ability to take advantage of that. I can't imagine CSP isn't working the revenge factor - OK, maybe not revenge, but a debt to repay. Having said that, I think we top 80 points and win going away.
