This totally awesome receiving core this year is losing Budrage and now D'Vario, back to square one I guess.
Bundrage was not spectacular. Had a lot of drops. Weight loss seemed to adversely affect D'Vario. They were not elite this past season.

You guys Dvario M isn't leaving! In the podcast they thought he was a senior that's why they said it. They were clueless. Unless I missed a public announcement in Twitter Dvario ain't leaving. He's a RS Sr who would have no eligibility left. Lol.

I listened to the Podcast and did not get that impression that they thought D'Vario was a senior. They simply said that D'Vario was gone and that he was not coming back. Like they knew something.
Perhaps CW could clarify that.

Having above average receivers is nice, but in a list of most important positions in college football, WR would be pretty close to the bottom. A single great receiver can change a game, but a group of good ones can't, see Iowa St 2015.
Scale of importance:
Coaches & Schemes > QB
QB > RB
RB > OL (close)
OL > WR
WR > TE
Every position on defense > WR

even the best QB in college will look like trash if they have no time in the pocket and rushed on every play.

while the best OL can make terrible QBs look good.

Guys woody simply thought DM prob was a juco and forgot he actually came in as a sophomore so woody thought he was a senior prob. Arnaud was talking about guys coming back and said DM and woody just said he's gone. He's not.
Nobody is saying he "can't" leave, or that he might not have overriding personal reasons for doing so. What IS being said is that, in terms of his football career and future....it would be an absolutely horrible decision for the kid. He would be putting himself in a terrible situation with just one year to try and prove himself to NFL scouts...and if he goes to a program like USC, he may not be able to break into the starting lineup (as that team is generally loaded with 4 and 5 star kids ALSO working towards an NFL future).
If Cotton-Moya has any desire to play in the NFL, he really must stay at ISU...transferring would be a severe blow to his future prospects.
Again, though, he may have some strong personal reasons unrelated to football that necessitate his leaving...reasons so important that the override the fact that he'd be ruining his chances at making the league. Best of luck to him wherever he goes.
