Hey not a bad game seriously. We are not to full power yet without Wesley. Please relax people.

Re: Post Game

The story in our 2 losses have been defensive rebounding. There should be no reason our rebounding is this poor.

Re: Post Game

Seriously was Garrett that bad tonight? When he was in and playing things clicked.

Thompson- Never should see the court

Jiri- talk about getting worse

C.Johnson- too bad he doesn't get more time

Boozer- not ready

Haluska- 1-18 on the season

Seriously with all this I think Wesley would be the key.

Re: Post Game

Brackins, Garrett, Clark go 18-33 for 45 pts. Everyone else 4-23 and 13 pts. Need someone to provide a little support, missing way too many shots.

WTF is the deal with closing the game thread? I just came over here and wrote up my feelings on the game in that thread, and when i hit 'post' it was Closed. I realize the game was over, but geez! What kind of crap is that?

Re: Post Game

Time for the chicken little crowd to announce that the sky is falling.

It fell already.

Our front line really concerns me, save Brackins. That, and our backcourt, our scoring, our decision making, and our rebounding.

Other than that, pretty pleased.

I came into this season expecting 15-16 wins and excited to see the young fellas grow up and make the first step towards being something great. I am satisfied with this so far. I'd love to see wins, but we have to remember we are outmanned in many areas this season.

Re: Post Game

Wesley won't solve the PG issue.

We get very little penetration, and when we do, it seems like our bigs have hands of stone. At least ISU cut down on the turnovers tonight. Guards need to work on feeding the post. Jiri needs to work on not getting stripped. Brackins needs to rebound better.

I will give MN a lot of credit. McKenzie hit some huge shots and Coleman/Tollackson also played great. Plus they made around 12-14 free throws in a row to finish us off. It will be interesting to see how they do under Tubby.

We've got nice talent but it's young. If there's a Big 12 team with worse guard play I'd love to see it. The sky isn't falling but people had too much expectation on this team. I still like our core for the future with Diante, Wesley, Brackins, and a few solid role players.

The same thing happened to me. Someone was a little quick on the trigger.

I thought the point guard play was much better tonight. Peterson had a couple of bad TOs, but Thompson and Clark each had a TO's that a 6th grader shouldn't make. Rebounds and poor shooting are the things hurt tonight. With a health Juri and Wes some of the rebounding will change.

We need three things, two of them are on the bench right now, and the other is likely 1-3 years away (Big 12 caliber PG)

With a healthy Wes, we win this game easy though.

No doubt about it Tubby is going to turn the Minnesota program around but that still doesn't help with the pain of ISU playing so badly tonight.

Unless Wes returns healthy and Lucca is OKed by the NCAA this is going to be a long year. With the exception of Brackins, Clark, and Diante I wasn't pleased with the performance tonight. I am still hopeful that Jiri will again step up like last year and Wes will return to form to provide a decent starting 5.

I think having Wes tonight would have made this a W with his rebounding ability alone. Trying to maintain some excitement about this year.......
