New wildcard for the Dodgers, Furcal will start and lead off. It's a lot to expect but if he's anywhere near his early season form, it's a huge plus. My winners-Red Sox White Sox Dodgers and Phillies. Red Sox over White Sox and Dodgers over Phils. Dodgers over Red Sox. I will admit I'm very biased.

I just can't see all the Cubs players playing well on the same day....thus I don't see them winning it all.

I would rather have White Sox over Cubs but I dont think the Sox get that far.

It wouldn't be "another year of almost"... it would be the first "almost" since 1945.

If the Cubs don't win the pennant, I think the Dodgers beat them. I can't see Milwaukee or Philly stopping the Cubs.

I meant getting to the playoffs and not winning, not the world series...12 times in the playoffs since they won it all in 1908.

I love that everyone is doubting the Cubs again. I "BELIEVE" they are going to take that to heart and show why they are the best team in baseball this year. GO CUBS GO

Yeah... Rookie in '98... then '03, '07, and now '08.
