With "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" listed as their third worst song, they've already lost me.
I can agree with that. As someone who is a little behind the times on online music, though, I like having a list like this with links to the song. Unfortunately, it looks like it probably got some of the songs taken off YouTube.
I agree - love that song. And they apparently hate on the White Album hardcore. :sad: How can "Why Don't We Do It In the Road?" be so far down the list?
I do like that they put "If I Fell" up near the top of the list. That's one of my favorites. The entirety of Revolver and Abbey Road really shouldn't be below 75.
How can they hate The White Album? It's one of the most highly rated albums of all time and mathematically impressive. The key changes alone make it an amazing album. It is so impressive from a mathematical stand point that developing babies are supposed to listen to classical music and The White Album.
"Rocky Raccoon" is only at 73. :no: "Revolution" only at 48. They do give "I Am the Walrus" some love, though. I suppose this is a little like ranking your kids, but I'm with you - you have to respect the preciseness of The White Album. "For No One" is great, too.

I am a Beatles fan. But it has nothing on Maynard James Keenan. Listen to some of his arrangements. WOW :notworthy:
OH yeah, the whole developing babies perform better/develope better from listening to classical music is pure bunk. It's a myth perpetuated by some goof and accepted by the art van guarde crowd. Later studies proved his "studies" to be a sham. :biglaugh:

I just think it would be a heck of a lot less severe if freaking "Fool On the Hill" weren't at 31. 31? Higher than "Yesterday," "Sexy Sadie," and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps"?? Whoa - "Get Back" is at 127??
I'm partial to "Penny Lane", but partly because I had the privilege of visiting Penny Lane in England. And Strawberry Fields, but it didn't do as much for me.

I want to own my own town and have streets named Penny Lane and Abbey Road. :smile: Both great songs. Nobody can jam like a piccolo - just ask Jethro Tull (I think that's technically a pan flute...).
I'm sure everyone has favorites that they would rank higher. Kinda just proves the diversity of their sound. I love Penny Lane as well, and also Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. Even though Eleanor Rigby was high, I would put it in the top 5.
I believe Jethro Tull has "rock flute" solos. A piccolo trumpet is a smaller version of a trumpet with a higher range.
