The interesting thing here is all the talk that went on when the idea was first brought up about how the players couldn't handle an 18 game schedule. Turns out, they can handle it, so long as they get paid. Not that this is some shocking revelation. Lot's of folks saw it coming. It's just interesting to see how all the earlier posturing was just an attempt to gain a stronger bargaining position.
