What do you Think?
Play the Semi-Finals and the Championship Game as normal in Dec/Jan.

Play all other Bowl Games as the First Game of next Season-
-Hopefully Covid-19 will be in a "better situation".
-You may be able to actually have fans at Game.
-Fan may actually go to bowl sites / cities ($$$$ for hotels, restaurants, Bars- that probably will not happen in Dec/Jan-Covid19)
-Warmer Weather for Bowl locations ( no stocking hats in Memphis like December)
-Seniors can play next year (slight downside, as a few may hang it up after this semester)
-Won't have to compete with Family Christmas's
- Won't have to fight with Snow/Ice for flights and or travel Plans
- What Fan wouldn't want to road trip to a beachy/southern location to start the year?
-Every Team would be undefeated (hence everyone will think their teams are great--maybe better attendance).
-simply play the game in place of a non-Con for 21/22 or play it as a bonus game.
-Count it toward 21/22 season record?
-Who wouldn't want to start 21/22 season in Warm Tempe vs the Florida Gators?, or at the Alamo vs USC.

Just spit ball'n here.

Not a terrible idea, but highly unlikely being that there will be plenty of players graduating in May and moving on.

Why would Iowa State want to lose a non-conference home game to play somewhere else?

No thanks. No telling what the team will look like after the 8 month gap in play. We are playing too well to screw that up by playing a bowl game in August.

Would rather just start next year fresh and back to normal.

It's a no from me dawg. I don't need to travel all the way to Florida in August just to get swamp ass, the upper midwest has me covered there.

Kind of gives me a pro/rel feel though which is interesting to think about.

I didn't even like the idea that was discussed during summer of delaying start of "2020" season in February/March/April. Either it works in some fashion during the regular time frame or it doesn't ... if a bunch of bowls get dropped due to virus this season, that's the way it's going to roll.

Just think about all the seniors that want to get on with their lives. If they are not going to play, the whole team is different. Look at the Big 10. Last year PSU, MI, MN were all good. This year they are garbage. If you wait until August there would be some horrible matchups. Plus this is usually a good time for teams to heal and get some serious weight training in.

and let's schedule them for 8:00am. That will make it extra special.
