Has anyone tried Rico's Tacos. Does this replace Taco Tyme? Reports are it is good.
The Spice downtown has excellent Thai food and a bar.A small group of cyclone fans is coming to Ames on Friday night and it has been a really long time since we have been out in Ames. Would some people throw out some suggestions of good places to eat and drink that are off the beaten path?
Cornbred is excellent. Can't recommend it enough.
You can always stick with the classics. Hickory Park, Great Plains, Dublin Bay
Mucky Duck offers some really good specials in addition to their regular menu. They're south of Hwy 30, just past Lowe's.
Provisions usually has a really nice Sunday brunch/breakfast, too. Very nice atmosphere.Provisions is my pick. I’m going there tonight I think.
