The vet clinic that cared for my dog toward the end last night had a reception for families who lost a pet this year. I didn't want to go but fam did. They had made Xmas tree ornaments for all of them. Dang near lost it again when they gave me his.

Well I hate to bump a thread like this. but our 17 year old cat looks like she is ready to say goodbye. Really glad 2012 is about over because it's been ****** as hell.

Just had our cat Heidi put down. RIP babycakes we will miss you so much. Big thank you to everyone at ISU vet med. I'm so glad we have such quality veterinary center at ISU, they go above and beyond.

It's so difficult to lose a pet that's been a part of the family for such a long time. My condolences to you and your family. =(
