I'm no where near that level.
Currently I am creating clips at a rate of 180 per second. Selling at a rate of 55-60 per second yet my inventory isn't building up. If I am creating 180 per second and only selling 55-60 per second my inventory should be climbing but it isn't.
I think an employee is stealing inventory and selling it on the black market

After running the game awhile, I noticed the same thing (you can see it in the screenshot I posted near the beginning of the thread)...basically producing way more clips than consumed (according to the averages) but could not build inventory. Perhaps it is the way the average clips sold is computed. If average sales per second is not a moving average, once you start getting production ramped up, it will not accurately reflect current sales rate because it will be skewed by the beginning of the game where the sales/sec were really low.

Also another thing I noticed in Firefox on Ubuntu, when you have this game open in a multi-tabbed window, if you switch to another tab, the game slows to a crawl. To keep the game running at "full speed", I had to open the game in its own window with no other tabs.

Click on "Marketing" and then post a new screenshot after 30 seconds or so of Level 5.

You also may need to reduce the price.
I haven't been paying much attention due to doing my job.
I monkeyed around with it and once I was finally able to get some mega clippers my production has gone way up. It still doesn't make much sense. Saturday I was up to $4 billion in the first 4 hours. Of course I was watching it much closer.

This is after a couple of hours. View attachment 50839
You need to raise the price.

Just raise the price one cent at a time until you hit the level where inventory slowly builds.

You'll need to do that every time you do something that changes marketing. The avg numbers don't always make sense. You'll still fall behind even when average sold is a little less than average produced.

But, it's pretty much impossible for me to get them. My memory isn't high enough and I can't get enough trust to get more.

I wondered if it were possible to land in a state like this while I was playing. I allocated a lot more to memory than I did to processors and even so, there were times I had to work pretty hard to continue snapping up projects due to a shortage of memory. I can't say for sure, but it is possible you're stumped without waiting a million years to earn trust via paperclip generation alone.

Yeah, I have it running in its own window right now. Gonna leave it a while. On a side note, should have plenty of investment upgrades

I've tried all sort of things and it just doesn't seem to work like last time.
Right now I am created clips at 55,600 per second
I am selling them at a rate of 22,281 per second yet my inventory goes down.
I haven't even gotten the option to do the strategic games to accumulate Yomi. I'm screwed if I can't get those. I wonder what I did so different from last time to make it behave so different.

So it's possible to get more computations that you have memory for by using your quantum. you hit the button but be careful as it could be negative as well. Once you click on it, it will highlight meaning if you get a positive number, hit and hold the enter key down, but make sure you watch that value as it will go up or down. keep holding as long as it's positive to try and put you up to 70k. Your surplus won't last forever though, it will go down if you leave it.

You'll have trouble getting a surplus of 15k but if you can wait it out for a few more memory upgrades you might be able to with the right quantum combo.

Is there something to do once you leave earth? I have sent out 2K+ probes just buy clicking the button 2K+ times! but nothing is happening and there is nothing to buy.

you have to get to the point where you can change the "Von Neumann Probe" properties so that you can generate new factory, harvester, and wire drones. i can't remember if you just need more memory, CPU, creativity, or yomi, but you will eventually be presented with that project opportunity.

you'll also have to bump up exploration and speed in order to find new raw materials.

How did you figure that out?

I don't care what the demand is, I am not paying 85 cents for a paperclip if nothing else on principal alone.
