I think anyone that truly believed we had a decent shot today was fooling themselves.
Okie State is loaded on both sides of the ball and we are not. Add in the fact that Arnaud can barely grasp the football, and we were doomed from the start unless Okie State tripped all over themselves like Nebraska did.
I'm fully expecting us to end the year with 5 wins right now. Anything more would be wonderful, but we are NOT a bowl caliber team folks. I'm thrilled we achieved 5 wins. It's more than I could have imagined when the year started. We just don't have the horses yet. But we will in a few more years. We're already drastically better than we were under Chizik.

THis looks like a No. 19 team playing a team with a QB who missed two weeks, a running back who has a groin injury and a center who just came back from appendectomy. My God people, just sit back and relax a bit. Every little thing you guys come on here and **** and moan. We are a much better team than last year and have as many wins as the last TWO years combined. Grab a bottle of your favorite and cheer for your freaking TEAM.
I'm just angry that they seemed to completely pull the game off ABC. Isn't that what a mirror game is for? It is one thing if they switch it...but to completely take it off. I guess we need to have it forced away from us...
We are horrid. How do you think Nebraska fans feel now...ouch!
Paul has gotta get some young guys in...and I am thinking in the defensive secondary. I really hope he is recruiting some kids that are just atheletes that are over 5'-6" tall to play a physical corner position. We don't need track stars out there, just football players.

Arkansas-Hopefully due to us being next to Oklahoma we can stick with this one to the bitter end....I am watching thru Joplin's ABC on my antenna in hopes that if KHOG does leave it they will still carry it since they sit on the border with Oklahoma.
You know what they say, the camera adds 10,000 fans.
At least ABC is being kind to us by not showing the empty seats.
Giving up 27 points isn't that bad considering how the offense is playing.... The O simply needs to put some points on the board... I don't see any reason to punt... play to win!
I think you might be right....that same thought crossed my mind after I posted that.
