They're staged all right. I think there's even a disclaimer at the beginning of the show, something to the effect that scenes are based on actual cases. Note they didn't say they WERE the actual cases, but they're just based on them.

I would have to agree that these are staged as well. On a side note, I work for a large dispatch center and we frequently get the "heads up" calls from the repo agencies so if someone thinks they are stealing the vehicle we know whats going on. The BEST part is taking the call from somebody that THINKS their vehicle has been stolen and then being able to tell them it was, in fact, re-possessed. Surprisingly, this happens more often than you would think.

Only watched 1 episode - and it was one where they repossessed a handicap van from a military veteran with only one leg. He was in a wheelchair, and his brother wheeled him up to the vehicle as the repo was taking place...an argument ensued, and the able-bodied brother started to get pushy. The veteran tries to calm him down and tell him to just let them take it and avoid conflict. It finally gets to be too much, and the veteran STANDS UP ON TWO LEGS to pull the fight apart. Turns out he had a leg folded under himself under the blanket on his legs, and was just faking the amputation for whatever benefits he could finagle. Sick mother****er.

its all staged I think....in fact most of those people I dont think are even licensed to be repo people in the state of California. One channel did have a repo show on though and it seemed to be pretty legit

Yeah it's staged. Not every repo ends in a fight like all theirs do.

Whatever man... Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura, Forensic Files, Criminal Masterminds, Most Daring, World's Dumbest, Top 20 Most Shocking, Bait Car and Over the Limit are all awesome shows and way better than any other TV channel. When I want instant entertainment, I turn on truTV and there is usually some kind of crazy police chase or explosions going on, it's awesome!
