Lol you guys love throwing former players under the bus

A spade is a spade in my book. Not throwing him under the bus, just saying he didn't perform very well especially as compared to his Junior year.

Doesn't matter. Going to be fun watching him matched up against and spying LeShun Daniels. Hopefully CJB and Kittle can pick them apart if they sell out on LeShun.

So Lanning is the starter at MLB this year as of now? Its "his job to lose"?

Wadley may break Banks' single game rushing record in JTS this season.

Hope Stanley is servicable by start 2 of his career, then. If not, you guys having a completely one-dimensional offense with a weak QB and almost no receivers isn't much of a struggle for us (or anyone else) defensively. Wadley is good, but he's no Troy Davis.

Yeah he played as a Tr Fr, and is at 295 now.

Did Lanning play any LB the last 4 years? How good will he be, 1st or 2nd team all Big12?
Well, no, because he was playing quarterback. He was also a LB in high school, though. I can say with 100% certainty I've seen him light up other players. Joel has crushed more than a few CB's and safeties in his time, but obviously RB's are much bigger.

Sounds a lot like our offense last year.

You know, the year we produced two 1000 yard rushers in the same season for the first time in school history.

I've never seen a thread with so many attempts to derail and for the most part everyone is just staying the course despite the 1 or 2 dbags.

I know how it feels, we had a back-to-back 2000-yard rusher on teams much worse than yours is now.

Thing is, that doesn't win tough games by itself. Didn't for us, either. Those rushers haven't exactly led you to bowl wins... an offense with some other tools might have.

Agreed, it is laughable that Lanning may start at MLB for a P5 program when he spent the previous 4 years at QB.
I'm sure he can handle the theory and strategy of being an LB; I'm curious if he can handle the physicality of it.
