I don't have any submissions, but I have a story related to many of these submissions. It comes from my father in law.

My father in law was a teenager during the heyday or Led Zeppelin. He had a birthday coming up so his mom decided to go buy him a record.

She walks into the record store and asks an employer where she can find the new "Leo Zepelini" album, like it's some Italian guy named Leo.

So that's my wife's inside joke whenever Led Zeppelin comes on the radio. "Ooh, a Leo Zepelini song!"

You may now return to your regularly scheduled "On That Note"

This was released as a single in June, 1969.

Goodbye Pork Pie Hat was a song about Lester Young and is now a jazz classic. I first heard it from Jeff Beck on his Blow By Blow album.

Johnny Winter's version of Highway 61 Revisited (from the same album) is more famous but I'll offer the opening cut as an exhibit of his talent and feel for the blues.

Where is @ImJustKCClone? Thought she had something ready to go (unless I missed it somewhere in the thread)

She was going to play something we might not like. I haven't seen any of those albums yet.
Been gone or busy most of the day with company coming, and somehow missed this getting posted last night. :(

So, silly me, I completely missed the fact that it was albums at first  and my plan was to throw Sweet Caroline out there just to see how many dislikes I would get.
I see that @Isualum13 had the same idea.

Since singles were not supposed to be posted, my album choice was a seminal album that broke the mold of album structure with a compete story-line that later became a movie. However, @Angie beat me to the punch.

HOWEVER, she left out the absolute BEST clip from the movie (IMO):

So :p to all y'all that messed with my plans!!!
:D

I have to throw in this one from one of my favorite acts. Arthur (Or The Decline and Fall of the British Empire) by The Kinks

How I forgot to include the last one in my Nostalgia post last week I can't fathom. I need to listen to this album a little more often... Obviously!

I feel the need to also post the title track. So good!
