And sort of in the vein; Black Sabbath's early heavy occult stuff came from Geezer Butler reading both Crowley and an author named Dennis Wheatley. If you're interested in the source material...

Stewart Copeland is so good.
Just the best...

I'm constantly watching his YouTube videos and old live Police videos. Best drummer of the 20th century. And the way I know is that he comes up over and over as an influence. From Brad Wilkes to Chad Smith to (I think) even Lars Ulrich. No one sounds like him.

EDIT: I remember when the Police announced their reunion tour (they did a couple tunes in a club in LA iirc) they showed Taylor Hawkins and Questlove together in the crowd. Dave Grohl is a fan too.

I disagree and present this as evidence of the worst song.

While I agree that this is Top 10 annoying, it's mostly just repetitive.
I have a problem with songs like One Week where my brain wants to go through each and every verse and prove to itself that god damn it I know every word to this song! And my brain will not cease rolling over and over the song until I listen to 5 other songs to force it out.

Excuse me while I go listen to Synchronicity for a while and try to forget that One Week ever existed.

My brain always wins.

I'm going to go spin Synchronicity as well. Enjoy. BTW, which is better, Synchronicy I or II?

FWIW, I might despise that damn 500 miles song as much as the EIU fightsong as it reminds me of a couple weeks I was stuck in Lincoln, NE back in 1993 and the local station had it on heavy rotation.
