Last year after we lost the football game in Iowa City, a classy Iowa City cab driver yelled F*@#k the Cyclones out his window as we were walking along the street by the stadium. There were other fans walking by, including kids. Winning the game just wasn't enough. I guess this is a sign of a healthy rivalry.

The funny thing is they have teams that they don't even play that hate them. Nebraksa fans despise Iowa fans and they don't even play each other. There really is not one team that I hate there fans that we don't play. I kind of hate Penn State fans now after that video of them throw stuff at the Ohio State fan. Even though I don't like Ohio State (the team). I have nothing against there fans.

Make fun of them all you want but when Hawk fans say we have an obsession about them, for some people that is true.

The classiest fans in the Big 10 don't storm an opposing team's field, tear down their goal post and take parts of it out of the stadium.

I love a good chuckle about the hawks, don't get me wrong. I could care less if there are threads about the hawks...
I just think its sad there are more threads about the hawks than there are about our Big 12 opponent we play in 3 days. Some people are just more obsessed about the hawks than others...there is nothing wrong with that. It just gives truth when Hawk fans say we are obsessed with them.

TRY to take parts of it out of the stadium. Unfortunately, goal posts don't fit well through revolving doors.
I heard from a couple hawk fans who actually went out and cut a chunk of the grass/turf out of the field to bring it home.
