Awful looking injury and no TD on top of it. Auburn will win because of it.

His ankle snapped. Feel horrible for that kid as he is gettin carted off they announced he fumbled on the 1 yard line.

Ground already can't cause a fumble. Seems like a rule that an injury can't cause a fumble might be reasonable.

That's a terrible way to lose a football game. That's an all-time kick to the stones play

Yeah, that just wont work...... Every time someone fumbles they just have to lay on the ground in pain because of an "injury" and *poof* no fumble.

Again, replay, no? Guy gets carted off the field, no fumble. Guy is faking it, fumble. Wouldn't add significantly more judgement calls than already occur, IMO.

Obvious replay would be obvious.

any time someone fumbles, they'd just claim concussion symptoms. Those are easy enough to fake, and can be hard to determine exactly when they occur.

That was stupid for the receiver to try the hook and ladder instead of not falling down past the first down.

Yeah, looks like Ole Miss receiver faked that injury to me. Obviously.
