Farrell had a terrible 9th inning though. How do you not bat Napoli there instead of Workman? And then he doesn't IBB Jay to get to Kozma? Kozma ******* sucks. Farrell blew that game, just a terrible job of managing.

Baseball has the most illogical rules of any sport, so I guess that makes sense...

Yes. Not putting Jay on is a bonehead move. His run means nothing. You need the DP.

Ya I didn't get that decision.

1st bad decision: Not walking Jay to set up a potential double play.

2nd bad decision: Saltalamacchia never should have made that throw. After playing catcher throughout HS I was taught to never give up a potential run on a risky throw to third. He had 0 shot at getting the runner. Didn't that kind of play cost them the go ahead run in game 2?!?

Exactly why I am losing interest in it. Being a Cubs fan doesn't help either. I can watch about the first 25 games of the season, and then I'm ready for football. Sucks too, because when I was younger baseball was probably my favorite sport. Not so much any more.

So a bad throw by the catcher is the 3rd basemans fault? Got it.

Was it a terrible throw? Absolutely. Was it a throw that could have been fielded? Absolutely. Pedroia had several tough plays today. Wong and Carpenter had some as well.

Contrary to your bias, that was the correct call.

What does my "bias" have to do with anything?
