I think it's safe to say we will shoot better today? Or will we? I didn't see the game against VCU.

Going to need more than the combined 8 points we got from Tre and Milan against VCU.

Va Tech had 4 starters score 14 or more vs Boise. Doesn't look like they have much of a bench but starting 5 is very good.

Watched the second half of VT last night. Not nearly the length and athleticism we faced from VCU.

VCU was quite a matchup problem for us which was good for our experience. They were athletic and long. They were hitting threes both contested and uncontested. Milan's shot was off and he wasn't as able to guard their athleticism. Just imagine when he and Omaha really get into a groove to add to the depth.

VCU was so dang long it was crazy. The only guy that wasn’t was their lead guard, who I could have swore made a uncalled moving violation every time he touched the ball.

Definitely. But guys like Jones and Milan have to be able to knock down their open looks. Jones especially has to get off the snide behind the arc. He had 3 or 4 wide open looks yesterday that weren’t close.

Not missing 10 free throws will also help

Milan looked hurried for the first time all year. He'll catch up.

Win or lose imo that was exactly what this team needed.
