Gottlieb has about as high of a basketball iq as anyone out there and manages not to be a stiff without being over the top during games... I really don't understand the hate for the guy.

He can be a little snarky. I don't mind him, though I do sometimes prefer stiffs that show less personality so long as their commentary is insightful. I'm here to watch the game, not the commentator. Again, I don't usually mind him, but I often watch the game on mute no matter who the commentator is.
