Difference between passionate and someone who overreacts every time something doesn’t go our way. I learned long ago that riding the roller coaster of emotions is not good for you. I love Iowa State, but I don’t get down when they lose because I have no control over the outcome.
Who are you to say how someone is reacting to a loss?

Who are you to judge how someone can or should ride the rollercoaster of Cyclone emotion?

Large family gathering here - we’re all elated. We were all frustrated with that first 35 minutes, and it was justified. Absolutely no one here is apologizing for “overreacting”. Go ‘Clones!

To come back from multiple double digit deficits just shows the heart and character of this team. Otz teams have had a common thread: they fight until the end. I’m glad the team had a game like this as the experience will help when conference play rolls around.

Agree. Really glad to see the fight, especially from Gilbert and Tamin. They literally said “we’re not going to lose this” - THAT is awesome.

Winning matters, and they made sure we won.

Gutsy performance. Bad fist half. Found something that worked after halftime. Kept going at them after we lost the momentum for a bit there in the second half. Great stuff from Tamin and Keshon, show those newcomers what it takes to win against a good college basketball team.

35 minutes??? I'd say 18 or 19 minutes. Frustrating part was how timid we played.
