Difference between passionate and someone who overreacts every time something doesn’t go our way. I learned long ago that riding the roller coaster of emotions is not good for you. I love Iowa State, but I don’t get down when they lose because I have no control over the outcome.

I stand by my comment that the refs ******* sucked. Great comeback. This team is gritty.

Ya. It was a terrible combination of an opposing team that wanted to muddy things up and restrict freedom of movement, and refs that didn’t want to call much for whatever reason.

Multiple guards getting to the rim is a good ability to have.

One other thing. A team with that length and athleticism can be a team that gives Rob a lot of trouble but he played fantastic we aren't even remotely in the game without him

He does a lot of things you "can coach", but so few actually do very well these days.

I mean that as a compliment in the highest form. It's a credit to the kind of person he is.

31-20 advantage on the boards. 13-3 on offensive boards. Forced 16 turnovers. Held VCU to 46% shooting.

Shoot 80% from the line and finish just three shots around the rim they missed and the margin would have been 16ish.

We are all VERY passionate about ISU…. and all want to win every game.

Even with the great comeback win though…. if you don’t think this team has a LOT to improve on, you’re kidding yourself.

We showed great toughness and competitiveness, but defense was sloppy and we can’t make a shot, or even get open for a shot for that matter. Only offense came from Lipsey and Gilbert driving the lane and running into people. Luckily that worked tonight, but can’t hang your hat on that.

Is Watson hurt or what?

No one said they don’t have a lot to improve on. No one thinks they will go undefeated. It just surprises me all the negativity so early in a season. 2-22/0-18 wasn’t that long ago. Enjoy every win. Now let’s all go cheer Brock
