Iowa will beat us by 35 points....just saying.

I am glad Paul went for it on fourth down. thank you for that instead of kicking the fieldgoal.

Why couldn't we have gottenthat 2 point conversion against Nebraska last year?!?!?!?!?

meh - iowa looked like trailer trash in the first half of their game as well.

i don't exactly like what i've seen so far, but people place WAAAAAAAY too much weight on the first half of the first game of the season. jantz has settled down and looks a lot better. so has the d.

let's reserve judgments about how many points we're going to spot iowa until the end of the game, hmm'kay?

Most teams with new QB's struggle for a little bit at the start of the season. Even Mizzou started slow against Miami, Ohio, and they have many more offensive weapons than we do.

I hope everyone has the jitters worked out and can come out in the 2nd half and put some quality drives together. 2 ints in the first 1/4 of ball was painful.
But hey we have the lead.

Way up there
Pretty rough first half, I'd like to see SJ and White get more touches but the offense really hasn't had much of a chance to get into a groove, so its really hard to judge too much. THe defense has played okay, Rennie is a good athlete but he's let them off the hook with some bad throws. I think its

Thank GOD for Woody on the push!

How the hell they going to review that?

Will someone PLEASE tell me why we are in the blasted shotgun (6 yards off the goal line) when we should have QB sneaked it 3 times in a row. Holy Toledo!!! Help me undertand why you don't have a 6'2 inch 230 lb QB pusing over from 1 yard out against UNI!!

Ahead at half w/ -3 turnovers. I guess it could be worse. Need a more focused effort in the 2nd half.

While that is very true, and I think ISU wins this game, they have gotten pretty fortunate on some UNI penalties. One play for 35 yards and they may have gotten 3 personal fouls on that last drive....at least 2.

The team really hasn't been bad. Reynolds dropped a pass in the end zone that ended up being intercepted. Shontrelle fumbles on a drive that would have gotten at least 3. ISU should be up 17-3 or 21-3. I think they come out the second half and blow UNI out.
