Even with the loss here the conference title is still out there. Would just need to flush this and move on.
I hear ya but dropping a game to a struggling ucf at home as a top 10 is just stupid. And I was hoping fo 10 wins this year. Don't get to 10 by dropping games like this

Mouser was owned today. He was bad. Terrible play calling.
Not his best BUT he can make the throws for Rocco. He can’t make the line pass pro better.

Now he definitely did NOT call his best, but what does it look like if Rocco hits even a third of the air mails he’s had?

I think this game is spotlighting a weakness with athletic qbs.
I would not be shocked if we drop a few more games.

This was a very bad performance by isu tonight.
This one felt like the coaching really bungled it. Another slow start to the game and soooo many critical mistakes. I want some of the CF podcasts to focus in on what is going wrong with our running game when Sama and Jackson are running it, because it feels so lackluster compared to Hansen.

Mouser got worked tonight. Obviously Becht wasn’t accurate and the pick 6 off Noel’s hands weren’t his fault.

But personnel and formation combos were a gift to UCF. The insistence to run deep shallow route combos with WRs running the shallow outs and crosses and TEs running deep meant, surprise, no respect for the deep ball and compacting everything.

The obsession with rolling with 2-3 TEs wasted a lot of plays. Sorry but splitting a backup TE wide doesn’t defeat a loaded box. This isn’t Madden. When Burke or Moore are split wide in real life coaches and players adjust and react accordingly.

A bunch of our offense came on jailbreaks and Becht scrambling. Everything was a challenge.

28/35 points came off 2 pick 6s and 2 big mistakes that went for giant plays.

Hard to put the game on Heacock when the D otherwise held, and even counting those big plays still essentially held their offense to 21
It’s definitely not in the D, but we do need to learn how to tackle.

I agree. Just saying it’s still all there. We just lose our safety net with this loss.
