Texas just called the Big 12 office on that one.
Our single A walk-on linebackers got exposed tonight. I’m not even mad at them, but Gus and UCF have the two strengths that spell danger for our glaring weakness due to injury. We should be between 20-25
Got exposed tonight: we’re good, but not top 10-15 good.
I noticed that too. The far side official was spotting 3-4 yards short about every time Rocco slidWhere they considered Becht “starting” a slide was ******* criminal, the whole game. If he so much as slowed down, they’re like “yup, started the slide there”. So many lost yards to that crap.
Rocco is a determined son of a gun. I'm sure he felt terrible about the 2 picks (pick 6's no less). He just gutted it out and made play after play, when it counted. So was that both the worst QB passing game of the last 10 years AND the best qb run game of the last 10 years?
He's a Winner. Some of the most important stuff just doesn't show up in a player's "measurables."Rocco is a determined son of a gun. I'm sure he felt terrible about the 2 picks (pick 6's no less). He just gutted it out and made play after play, when it counted.
It was fitting that he snuck in the winning score, and followed it up with the 2 point conversion. Amazing.
Admiration.
This is the Rocco game imo.I never doubted them until that 2nd interception. They seemed to be better Team all game except for a few plays but that was scary. Defense held when mattered just enough and Rocco delivered!

Guess you could have ask nicer , but you got it.we need a gd miracle
My best guess is a pulled hammy on the long TD run but like you I saw nothing that really stood outCan’t recall seeing a play where it looked like he was hurt but something had to be up. I think he played a bit early in the second half but not much.
And for the record, we’ve had better, more experienced linebackers that would’ve struggle against this look tonight. Our single A walk-on linebackers got exposed tonight. I’m not even mad at them, but Gus and UCF have the two strengths that spell danger for our glaring weakness due to injury.
A great rb and a big, strong mobile qb.
Nuts and guts is what tonight was about.
Harder for longer.
