Since we're starting with 2nd and like 17 to go, I'd be OK with 2 hail mary's to start the 2nd quarter. Even if intercepted, no worse than punting. Then get a fresh start.

I understand it’s correct by the books, but I’ll never understand how a personal foul call can be offset by a call like inelgible downfield. I feel like any personal foul call should be addressed as a “deadly sin.” Mark off the 5 yards for ineligible downfield and then give the 15 and First down for the personal foul.

Just a strange rule.

Agreed, targeting based on the rules. I'm in the camp that a play like that shouldnt be targeting. Heck, I'm not even sure it's a late hit given how much Purdy pump fakes. I'd hate to be a defensive player these days

I don’t get rotating Eaton and Jones out every other series for Akers and Milton. I understand working Milton in but Akers doesn’t bring much to the table. Jones is a proven playmaker and needs to be on the field every possession.
