My theory is that she is born of the force, like Anakin was. The force is obviously strong with her, and it would fit the Skywalker lineage backstory (considering the force is technically Anikan's father).

I don't like that at all, personally.

I really just want her to be a nobody.

Apparently you didn't watch the trailer. That's exactly what she is. A voice asked her "Who are you?"

I doubt they are going there. That would recall the whole midichlorians crap, which the film makers have said will NOT be in these films.

I haven't read the novelization, but if anyone who has could chime in here, I'd appreciate it.

When Kylo Ren murders Han Solo, it first appeared to me that he was going to surrender his lightsaber to his father and renounce the Dark Side. I don't think that it was a coincidence that, as this was happening, the last vestiges of light from the sun were snuffed out, his resolve appeared to return, and he then took back the lightsaber and committed the murder.

In the novelization, was he going to give up the Dark Side? Or was he planning to give hope to his father only to dash it, all along?

I didn't read it either, I just assumed his dad represented the light that was still calling to him. He asked Han's help to be rid of it with no intention of turning back.

Bad News: December 15th, 2017

At least we will get a new Pirates of the Caribbean movie in place of when Star Wars was supposed to come out.

While Episode VII may not be releasing until Dec. 2017, Rogue One at the end of this year will more than make up for it.

Just went to see it Sun. really enjoyed it, don't know enough to hang with the big dogs in this thread. Really glad I saw it on a full size theatre screen, really liked the big sweeping scenes.
