The dude works his ass off on defense and we can’t just not shoot threes. He just needs to make enough to require guarding out there. He’s not going to be a sniper. Another CF hive mind creation is the Grill as some kind of 3pt sniper.

Lol huh!? Literally no one has ever called Grill a sniper. He’s a bad 3pt shooter, and has always been. Yet he shoots a lot of them. It’s the majority of the shots he takes. So yeah, it matters. He plays a lot of minutes and misses a lot of 3’s. It is very obvious that fans on a message board are going to talk about this.

And yes, he tries hard. That’s great.

Grill is a really nice player for us if he didn’t shoot. Unfortunately he shoots a lot. Wish he’d lean more into the pesky guard role and less into Kyle Korver.

Kunc has missed just as many 3pt shots as Grill…

Milwaukee got humbled the other night at Purdue and they vowed they would compete on every possession tonight. And they are doing just that. We took our foot off the gas so TJ called TO to chew some ass.

Grill is 17% from three this year, Kunc is 40%. Grill shouldn't be shooting as many threes as he does if he's gonna shoot that poorly.

Lipsey is doing exactly what he's asked to do, which sets up well for us long term, I hope. Nothing flashy out of him, no gaudy stats, but we don't need that from him -- we just need him to safely run the floor. He delivers that.

I like his game a lot but he’s going to have to take a few shots. They’re not even guarding him up top.

Not much to be encouraged about after watching this game. Robert Jones play is the highlight. We still can’t shoot 3’s and just look bad.
