I'm really not sure if rankings ever really matter but were the voters just lazy this week?

If you're referring to ISU's (and Iowa) ranking - poll was released Monday. (The CBSSports listing updates the record in close to real-time, hence why it shows us at 7-2)

I grew up watching basketball in the 80s and 90s so I'm well aware of production values.

I dont expect it to be CBS quality when we play Mcnese State, but at least turn a little bit of crowd noise on so Hilton doesn't sound like a morgue.

In addition to them raising prices, I subscribe to the app and still couldn't watch 1/4 of the game against St. John's because of a women's game.

I dont know about you, but when I pay for a service, sit around all day excited for the game, but then can't even watch, it's extremely frustrating. This is 2022 and they csnt figure out to start the game on the app so people wouldn't miss part of it? Instead I get to watch women hack each other and shoot free throws for a half hour to finish 3 minutes of game play.

Mine freezes all the time also and I have to back completely out. I have many other sports apps including Fox and dont have that issue with them.

So yeah, I'm glad they have our games available, but 95% of Iowa State games have always been available to watch long before Espn+ came around.

Bottom line is I think they suck.

If you subscribe to the package with Hulu, ESPN+ games are on there as well. Doesn't solve all your issues, but the Hulu app is 1000% better than the ESPN+ app.

I would love to see us shoot in rhythm, and develop a mid-range game threat, offensively. Of course, you're going to want to try to hit a few 3's, get the ball inside, etc.

But maybe try to play this game like there is no 3-point line, old school. We are not 3-point shooters, might as well not try to be.

I kinda wanna keep watching Brock on the big screen and have this game on my phone rather than the other way around. Even though I'm not a niners fan, this is fun watching Purdy play so well.

Hopefully this game will he a snoozer that helps the boys flush the Iowa game. No injuries, Gabe gets right on offense, play the defense we know they can.

Not trying to make excuses because I think Iowa wins the other night even if ISU were normal but I wonder if they have something going around. They weren't just 'off', they were WAY off on both ends.
