Two things to take away from today: 1) TCU is a little puckered up and the moment seems to be getting to them 2) Our talent isn't as bad as people say. If this squad was well prepared week in and week out, they could hang with most Big XII teams and win 3-4 games. Oh and one more thing, 14 on defense came to play today.
That would have to be the kickoff to start the 3rd since you have to score to kickoff otherwise.
I assume the same fans that are really mad about this game are the ones that predicted we'd lose 96-10 or something like that.
Who the hell cares....most of you think the entire team is garbage, so no one should be upset about 17-3.

Birch speculating Sam B is hurt, no runs today would back this up. It would explain his being tentative. What is really frustrating is that we have four QB's on Scholarship and have to play Sam hurt.
Not one to settle. I am sure that you are one of the guys who ******* about how bad Iowa State is. If you believe that they are the most awful team to put on a jersey, then you shouldn't be ****** they are only down 14 at half. Pretty simple. You can be disappointed Iowa State is not ranked and not able to compete on the road against a top 10 team. But if you think Iowa State sucks, you can't be mad about a 14 point halftime lead. End of story.
I don't know why they keep talking about "style points." Basically it is a way to justify their BS rankings. If style points mattered there is no way that Bama would be #1.
I continue to pray that our fans realize that the #3 team in the country might, just might, have a good defense. Hard for some of you people to understand that. I also continue to pray that some of our fans realize that we are missing a great TE, several receivers, etc.
The offense has not been good, but some credit has to go to the team we are playing.
Based on the few posts I've read on here, you would assume we were playing Kansas.
I hope Patterson grabs the back of Rhoads neck and pulls down on it at the end of the game in that little alpha-dog, condescending, disrespectful coach move they all do.
