That's about the end of our tournament hopes, this game was need-to-win territory for that. They'll still make the NIT and you could say that's a success overall.

This group is regularly being out-coached and outplayed. Another game of no meaningful halftime adjustments, followed by a massive dropoff in second half performance.

A few players with huge numbers of minutes contributed very little to the scoreboard. Fouling/passing was worse as the game went on. The team remains very limited offensively with generally poor post presence and a few guards we won't do much as dribble the ball, it's easy to pick off our passes when you know exactly when they're coming.

On to the next one and try to steal a couple more, but it's definitely not looking promising. We're gonna be that 10th-voted team after all at this rate.

I’m seeing the same kind of inability to self-reflect from game to game and work on issues that Prohm’s staff exhibited. It’s very concerning.

Who gives a sh*t if our coach really wants to be here if he can’t coach up a team. Coaching skill shines in obvious ways such as success coming out of timeouts, runs coming out of halftime, mid-game adjustments. This staff doesn’t have any obvious strength in any of these similar to Prohm. Same stupid mistakes over and over again, no pressure being put on the rim even with proven success from doing it against Okie St/WVU. It doesn’t appear that the staff positively impacts winning basketball.

Even if a team is losing games, it can still show that there’s progress being made. This team continues to get worse. That’s coaching.

We just got worked by a talent-deficient Bruce Weber team in Ames. F*cking puke.

Obviously they were playing over their heads in the non-con. This may be closer to the real thing.

Wonder what starter or major contributor gets a DNP next. We’ve had Jackson and TE. We know it will not be Gabe or Grill. Better watch out Big George, you might be the next victim of TJs wild flailing.
As a side note, I thought George played really well today. So I'm looking forward to 30 minutes of Bob next game.

Ok, this is getting ridiculous now. We won't win another game. Has any team went from Top 10 in January to completely missing the tournament?
This is the most pathetic meltdown I've ever seen in college basketball.

I’d say NIT would’ve been a success if it didn’t happen after an utter collapse.

Are people really questioning the coaching? A guy came in and turned the whole thing around? That’s ridiculous. He hasn’t even had one year to recruit and get his guys. We have a whole new team this season and we still are having a good season. Yeah it’s been shakey lately but TJ is not the problem. Kids not making plays is the problem. Kids who can’t shoot a basketball when that is the whole point of basketball

The best 3 point shooter that Iowa State has is at Ames High with Lipsy for what it’s worth. The hope is Hunter like Monte Morris improvers on his shooting every year.
It probably would have been healthier to slowly build to this record we have now to set the table for next year. And I don't say that lightly.

Other than finally sticking it to the Hawks, there's no real momentum to carry over from this, unless we somehow back into the tournament in epic head scratching fashion and pull a NCAA win out of our back end.

Shaky is a very kind word to use. TJ is making the same mistakes he did at previous stops. He is kind of stuck in his ways a bit, so we shall see how it goes. Definitely turned this to better than the last two years but let’s see how next year goes.
