Sad but true. Losing has become a habit. Need a fresh start. 2-10 after six years. Look around the country. There isn't a Coach that has survived that. I know.... buyout. Pay $5 million now and reverse course or ensure 10 more years of misery.

I agree. Let's start over. I could hardly be worse than this.

The current roster can get to 4-6 wins with merely adequate coaching. We could be competitive with half of the Big XII and all of our non con. Listening to Rhoads on the post game still citing the loss of his two d tackles back in the Spring. Pathetic.

There won't be a prolific offense until there is a running game. 135 yards today on 40 carries. How many plays got stuffed in the hole by a very average defense. O line can pass protect and Sam is good in the pocket, but he has no running game to rely on. Need some big uglies up front who can push people around.

This, it all starts on the offensive line and our has sucked bad under Rhoads. I see these guys come to the line and they look around and start making their calls. Personally I think we need to dumb down the scheme. Guy in front of you, Block him. It drives me nuts when they come up the the line and act like they know what they are doing, only to get run over on the snap of the ball.

On one play 77 blocked to his right and was part of a double team while his guy came through and blew up the play.

Good comparison. I have the same feeling now as I did when JP decided to let Mac go. It's time for CPR to take the same exit. Everyone knows it. The BIG question is can we afford it. The next biggest question is can we afford not to.

This group is not even competitive and I have no reason to believe it will be....some day.

I've moved from CPR supporter to...pull the trigger if JP has a read on a top candidate that will take the job.

Would rather try to keep CPR with Mangino as OC for another year than have a circus show coaching search where target after target says no, but if first target takes the job probably the way to go.

Most economical move is to promote Mangino and retain the rest of the staff. Only one buyout to deal with.

All these results go back to what a **** poor recruting job PR has done. Pathetic to think tall light lineman that can run would be a good idea is the stupidest thing I have ever heard of.

If Jim McElwain from CSU or Kirby Smart would come in, then you move on it. Otherwise, CPR gets another season but there will be a new DC and DL coach. Wally won't get fired, but I bet he steps down or becomes a "consultant"
