Question for people that know the rules better.

On the replay review at the end of the game that was ruled an incomplete pass to Jarvis West the TV time out official let a guy from the WV sideline listen to his headset. He signaled over to the WV coaches that it was an incomplete pass before the ref was done listening. I didn't have any impact on this game but I could see how a little advance notice in a close game could be a slight advantage to the team listening.

Is listening to the refs communications allowed? I would think if it was allowed more teams would listen in.

I'm predicting our offense puts up 35+ points every game next year if Mangino stays.

The questions going to be our defense.

Offense is miles ahead of where it was, ran 90 plays today. Problem is you just need better Qb play and line play in this league, and we don't have it. The o line can get there, we are screwed for Qb for years.

If Jim McElwain from CSU or Kirby Smart would come in, then you move on it. Otherwise, CPR gets another season but there will be a new DC and DL coach. Wally won't get fired, but I bet he steps down or becomes a "consultant"
And maybe be here one year and then be looking for a job? No one with a decent resume would take that bet.

On one play 77 blocked to his right and was part of a double team while his guy came through and blew up the play.

Yeah, that's one play that stood out while I was making this post.

"Oh, they are in a cover 2 with a possible stunt and a linebacker showing blitz, means I block inside. Never mind the guy right in front of me."

Sometimes I just wonder if coaches start to outsmart themselves and make things too difficult. Guy in front of you? Block him.
