I was a minute early on the home game too. Lol (Hoping for some Karma!)
WILL "OU" WIN???
Easy there! If we learned anything from last year it is that we shouldn't speak in absolutes about winning Big 12 tournament games.
I'm hoping for an ISU win and a Kansas lost tomorrow. I would make the drive down on Friday afternoon to see a Texas Tech vs ISU semifinal game. Would love to pick up some cheap tickets from Kansas fans for the semi-finals.
I have ONE thing to say to this team...REFUSE TO LOSE! Because of the W-L record which is necessarily posted everywhere, I don't think all that many people (even INSIDE the conference) have very high expectations for you this post-season (B-12 and NCAA). Frankly, after watching your performance early this season against the likes of Cincinatti & UNLV, I was not very impressed with your toughness and "can do" potential. Yet - especially after the multiple hijacked and throw-away games, you know full well that you CAN beat ANYONE. If there IS any doubt in any of your minds about that, then you are underestimating yourselves and need to put that idea away for good! You HAVE the potential to "win it all", and you DO have Korie's tournament experience to help keep a proper perspective! I believe the Big 12 has literally ripped you (and us fans) off...and done it with absolute impunity! You NEED to go into this OU game with a chip on your shoulders...not a chip that makes you excessively emotional, but a chip that reminds you at ALL times to be DETERMINED not to "let up", to keep your feet on the enemy's NECK, and REFUSE to let him/them UP!
YOU ARE Cyclones, you are a force of nature, a force NOT to be denied, NOT to be distracted, and NOT TO "SETTLE" FOR LOSING AGAIN!
You have a chance to make history now, and you ARE CAPABLE...but 'THEY' want to "keep you down"...REFUSE to let THAT happen, and exciting times INDEED are JUST AHEAD!
