83-72. They were a good team.

Im feeling a little too confident about the Iowa game, but think we can get out of Carver with a double-digit win.

Corey missed out on an easy double double tonight. He had 9 assists pretty early in the second half, but needed to dish it out in the last 10 minutes like he did the rest of the game. He looked good tonight though. Corey has incredible talent. If he stayed focused the whole game, like an Ejim type player, he would be incredible.

I agree, Coach Andy Enfield is a very good coach!! It definately showed with his decision making throughout the game. Got a feeling we will hear his name with a major BCS school here real soon.
Very impressed!!

I like how this Gulf Coast Team plays. Good Offense, and scrappy defense. This Coach needs to go somewhere with some more talent.

Korie played well tonight. 5 turnovers, but only 1 in the 2nd half.

If anyone was off a bit tonight it was Clyburn. Shooting was just not there, and he had 6 turnovers. Also, Niang's scoring has really dropped off, but he is a freshman. Really impressed with what Gibson and McGee add coming off the bench.

Surprised ISU could not get to the foul line more agaisnt this team.

Iowa will be interesting. I just don't see how they are going to cover ISU's outside shooters. Plus, they are terrible shooting from outside. Iowa shot 2 for 16 behind the arc tonight. They may not even be able to get one off against ISU. The only thing I see with Iowa is that ISU cannot foul them and send them to the line. They are very good foul shooters, and they seem to draw a lot of fouls.

Good win tonight. FGSU was certainly no cupcake at all.

Pretty good writeup. Lucious definitely took better care of the ball in the 2nd half. Agree on Clyburn. Niang's offense has dropped off, but he's also been playing a lot fewer minutes.

I'd also add that Ejim had a rock-solid game and has been playing very consistently all year. This was his 5th game with double-digit scoring, and also his 5th game with double-digit rebounds.

There really isn't any reason we should lose to Iowa. I think we have too athletic of a team for them and we are just better.

Amen. I predict a double digit win over the Hawks. Not concerned.

I'd agree with this. Last season, he had a few hilarious comments about one of the halftime shows that they didn't cut away from. Made watching the halftime show worthwhile.

I was just confused when he was talking about the legs of the unicyclist who was throwing bowls on her head.

I thought this team was better than BYU. However, the referees really let things go and were extremely inconsistent on charging fouls. I think pushing the ball down the court and trying to make a quick shot really hurt us against this team and will hurt us in the future if we don't take care of it. We need to think defense, and rebounding and control the ball, set up for a good shot. The inside players were trying to force it too often also, they should have looked for outside shooters more because we can really shoot the ball. We have really got some strange refereeing for these last two games. It is hard to adjust to it because it appears inconsistent They got as many bad calls as we did tonight anyway. I think this team should be an NCAA team if they keep playing like they did against us tonight. They couldn't stop our shooters, but besides that they were solid.

Also add that our shot selection has improved a lot over the last few games; I really think CFH and crew hammered home the emphasis to constantly be looking for that open look and make the extra pass rather than putting the ball on the floor or trying to drive in. The offense overall is gelling a lot better and it's creating some better shots.

Everyone just feels that if we just go out there and do our thing we win. Really no reason to believe otherwise. Nobody said that they don't have to show up and play hard.

Baylor's losing 54-36, at home, to Northwestern (who's coming off a loss to Illinois-Chicago). They have been one streaky team so far this year.

Anybody got the stat on missed layups tonight?

It may be that I notice missed bunnies more because it is us, but I swear we blow more easy baskets than any team in America. We never seem to finish on fast breaks like other teams, we rarely convert on alley-oops, etc. Yet we still are a good team, and I have high hopes for this season. Is it just me or does anyone else notice this?

Agree but the Clones are averaging 16. Value the ball and each possession equals a win!

On the road against an instate rival, anything can happen. I have no doubt that we have the better team. We just have to be up and play like it.

I was sort of kidding but I am a little worried simply because I'm a Cyclone fan.
