To me this game is as much of a statement game as any.Coming off a close loss last week, going on the road to a tough place to play (for us), and trying to become bowl eligible with the country's hardest schedule, winning this game will only reaffirm that our program is heading in the right direction.

Looked at the stats last night--teams are fairly similar (especially in conference play). One big difference, IIRC, was in punting--where ISU and Kirby Vanderkamp had about a five yard edge. That could mean a huge advantage in field position!
