Maybe increases everyone else's sense of urgency... I'm trying to be optimistic.

Lard, and probably see Lewis off the bench. Didn't he have a good game against WVU last year when he has pressed into the starting lineup?

The good news is, at least WVU is decimated with injuries and guys who left the team. From their starting 5 at the start of the season, only 1 is still a starter. 2 have been kicked off the team. 1 is out for the year with injury. The last 1 lost his starting job.

Time for Wiggington to step up and be a leader.

Yikes. I hated this game even back when the team was actually playing well and everyone was healthy. No NWB, no Shayok. Not good.

Shayok news is concerning... Still need to get the WV win and not allow it to be an excuse.

It does give the opportunity for Talen and Lindell to take the leadership role and embrace it. If they do that it could really benefit their leadership for next years team.

My (typically good) source said Shayok kicked a door following an argument at practice.

Serious? I guess with how unpredictable this team has been you can't rule it out. Just surprising that if that's what happened on Monday they've been able to keep a lid on it until this morning.

When things like this happen teams get focused. Subs step up. I think we win tonight where as I was skeptical before. Also assuming everyone will be back within a week, this can only help for the NCAA tourney. Get some key people some rest and get some key subs more minutes. People have been clamoring for a change and we're gonna get a good shake up. I like it!

Teammates get chippy with each other this time of year. It has happened even on teams that you wouldn’t think. Your source is correct and it likely stems from the practice incident last week if I had to guess.

That door is metaphorically the fanbase's crotch.

Practice incident last week?

I once watched Enis Haywood (RB) break Justin Eilers (LB) jaw in a practice fight. Eilers had his jaw wired shut for a month and a half after that, it was quite funny.

To me, this is a bench game. Rest up and get some other guys playing time. At this point in the season I honestly don't think it really matters whether or not ISU wins. People seem confident that even if they lose out they're getting into the tourney, so why not try to put yourself in a position to play okay in the tourney with as many guys healthy as possible?
