Tech hasn't scored more than 35 against the two defenses with a pulse that they've faced. I don't see us giving up 50+ against them and I think the people that do haven't been paying any attention this year to either us or them. And they are absurdly terrible against the run, so I don't see us having the constant three and outs we'd have to get for them to score that much. They're gonna move the chains and get yards, but they aren't going to find the end zone every drive like 90% of the posters on this site seem to think they will.

ISU - 38
Texas Tech - 30

TCU is only giving up 17 points per game aside from the Tech game. Texas Tech dropped 52 on them. If TCU's defense doesn't have a pulse who does?

This could very well be a trap game for ISU with TCU coming next week (sarcasm) Hopefully we score for once on the first series of both halves if so ISU 38-24 if not 45-17 and Lanning plays the 2nd half

My guess, Tech is going into this game with the same mindset that Iowa St was last week against KU. They need a "get right" game at home after dropping their last two.

Expect a similar result. Last week Iowa St was favored by 16, won by 25. This week Tech favored by 10, so I'll take them by 19.

I have not responded to any football related thread since man landed on moon... Okay, maybe I am exaggerating a bit. Can you blame me though? We really have not seen a good win for a very long time.

I honestly believe that Paul Rhoads is starting to the turn the corner. What I saw in the Kansas game is a lopsided win. I was not ready for that. The Kansas team is terrible but that is the one game they needed to win. I was totally expecting a close win for us but that did not happen. We won very convincingly and we discovered more about a rusher that belongs to the Iowa State team, not the other way around. Normally we see Heisman like achievements from the underdogs when they need a win against us. This time was different.

I really really think it will be a huge win at Lubbock this Saturday. I feel that our defense will rise up again and we will have a good passing attack - not necessarily just rushing. I am starting to believe in this team.

My prediction: 41-24 ISU

Sam throws two INTs and is yanked after first quarter. Lanning comes in and we run power football and win 28-24.

Looking for a field goal either way. Go with my heart, 31-28 ISU. My head says we'll miss it for the tie.:skeptical:

I think our outlook is artificially inflated after beating a terrible Kansas team. I think it finishes something like 45-24 TTU wins.
