no I was serious
Cool. Well then, I should provide you a serious reply. I’ve been using streaming services since Netflix first launched their digital streaming in 2008. Up until 2013-2014ish streaming sports was only possible through sketchy illegal streaming sites littered with malware and popups. Something I, along with most of us, had become an expert at maneuvering.
Through a combination of Chromecast sticks and various streaming memberships since then (Vue, Hulu, Roku) I’ve managed to catch every Cyclone game of any sport without much effort. Fast forward to 2020, when the Big 12 as a conference moves fully into streaming-only, one could easily presume an ESPN-owned Longhorn network, whose games display front and center on the ESPN app/service we all subscribe to now would play when you click “play”.
But nope, the mobile app just doesn’t respond, and the smartTV app just says a vague “unable to play” without any mention of LHN. That’s utter failure.
kudos to @Cyched for the Reddit mention. Worked like a charm.
