Ah, the same crew from last year's K-State game picked up the targeting flag. Imagine that.

JK I know that was the right call

What is it with the knee pad violations? That's what, 3 now?

Wth is the story with the knee pads? I've never heard of that before let alone 3x in a game.

Think they need to be covered. With the pants and turf, I think they’re rolling up exposing the pads. Not 100% sure though.

This D is not as good as last year. You can see the break down in holding their assignments. Constantly missing contain.

The D just collapsed inside. Nobody held their contain to the outside to force him back into the rest of the D.

I like that play TCU scored on. What type of route would you call that? It seemed like some sort of pick and roll in BB terms.

Kneepads:

This was a major new thing in HS football this year, and I assume also in college.

If a player is improperly equipped, they have to go out for one play.

Even if a knee pad slides up the prior play, and is above the knee, if they don't fix it by the time the snap is imminent, they have to go out for 1 play. Same with shoulder pads.

Major Point of emphasis.

Massive hold on that TD by TCU, but since they picked up the targeting flag, can't really complain.
