Every time I start feeling there's potential offensively, its like reality kicks in.

Big play + 4th down conversion = here we go.


1st down - blown up in backfield
2nd down - broken play
3rd down - penalty
3rd down - run a 4 yard route and throw there on 3rd and 14



I'm still alive on planet Earth it seems

For years coaches would come to ISU to study our defense. Do we not ever go look at what good offenses are doing?

If you can’t run the ball you can’t run the ball. No need to force establishing the run. Use the short passing game as a replacement to set up deeper shots. Sprinkle in the run, but realize what you have.
