Good golly, I just keep getting more peeved at that OPI on the big crossing-route 3rd-and-10 conversion. What the hell are the officials looking at? That was a full-on downfield block grabbing-the-defender‘s-shoulders on a pass play, which is illegal in about seven different ways … and nobody even blinks?

The drop off is a slow, walk on white kid. Horrible job recruiting that position. It makes it even worse because ISU runs a 3-3-5. They need lots of depth there and they have none.

Becht has been running for his life all night because we are no threat to run.

Memphis has been able to run enough to keep us honest.

If you can’t run…. you aren’t going to win.

When we always run on first down with a telegraphed play (motioning into a tighter formation), it makes it more difficult to gain anything It's not like we ever run on 2nd and long either. That makes it easy for the defense as well since they know it's going to be a pass. Just like that it's third and long. Run? 90% of the time we pass. We are a defensive coordinator's dream.
