Got a good feeling about this one. I am seeing this as our first conference road win, and we do so with a final score of 73 - 65. Lindell is disappointed after the shooting effort against Kansas, and goes for 25, with Donovan finding his stroke on the road.

Game comes down to how well ISU stops K-State's guards. Wade will get his. But if Clones can put a lock on Brown, Stokes and Diarra, particularly going to the goal, then they'll win it. Sneed is the X-factor. He's like a box of chocolates. Always fun to welcome and play our land-grant bros from the north.

Agreed. KSU will come in a little overconfident in a sleepy early game and we pull the upset.

KSU is 0-6 vs the top 3 teams in the B12 and 7-0 vs the bottom 6.

That’s playing to your seed.

Lard has been on a tear for ISU. He had a decent game first round against KSU but he was coming off the bench still at that point which shows how rapidly he's progressed.

In pretty much every game we play now a key stat is now if he's in foul trouble or not. If he's not in foul trouble he pretty much dominates the past 7-8 games. He's been the best player on the floor in most of our games win or lose, he outplayed Trae Young last week. Some games though the refs just look at him and start blowing the whistle.

As mentioned, KSU typically takes care of business in games like this. They get more out-talented than out-played imo.
This a tough matchup for us, particularly with our MASH unit. I’d argue this would be our second most impressive win of the year if we pull it off.
