That has been issue in most loses, the defense keeps them in the game and manning makes sure it is a loss

I would be very careful about saying this. If this game holds like it has been for 7 years, we'll score to take the lead and then Iowa will march down the field in a 12 minute drive to win.

No one outside of the state cares about this game this year. Neither team is ranked, its on BTN. Its just a blip on the bottom scroller for most fans of CFB.

I mean why is it unreal? It's been that way for the last 7 games. I'd be shocked if we were ahead. Again, this is not surprising in the least. We need to take the L and move on to next week.

That's right. Campbell needs to summon the refs and forfeit the 2nd half. One final wave to the kiddies, get on the bus and jet out of there. It's always over when you're down 7-3.

We should be down a lot more with all the mistakes we've made.

All I hope for at this point is that the defense doesn't give up and that we manage not to gift them too many short field scores.

I'd like to be more optimistic but we left 14+ points on the field against Iowa and against Iowa's defense... there's not very many games where teams end up winning those games.
